Organ Trade in Pakistan

Between March 2010 and April 2011, there were 450 cases of organ trafficking reported in Karachi, Pakistan.

Before an organ transplant law was enacted in March 2010, up to 1,500 black market organ transplants were taking place within the country, with patients paying between $10,00 to $20,000 to receive black market organs.
