Child Victims in Haiti Due to Earthquake

An estimated 7,300 children have become victims of child trafficking between January and October 2010 as a result of the earthquake in Haiti. The children are believed to have been trafficked for sexual purposes.

In 2009, the year before the earthquake, an estimated 950 children were victims of human trafficking.
