According to a report by the Associated Press, legitimate CDs and DVDs are sold around $1.50, where pirated music copies are sold for prices as low as 30 cents. One seller was quoted as saying that he makes $13 a day selling pirated goods in Myanmar. The average income in Myanmar is about $1,700 a year.
